I cant study properly; probably because home is really too distracting. And just like that I think I wasted a week of mugging. Apart from dealing with history; nothing else (or the lack thereof) was productive. I cant seem to find any motivation.

The thing is, if I could even find one to start with. -inserts dramatic sigh- This sulking is leading me nowhere.

You know, I don't loathe studying. Sometimes I wish I could just go on studying forever. It might be my form of escapism but at least I enjoy it since realism has always been my worst subject; why not just allow me to pad through the banal academy of knowledge rather than society?

Anyway, I found this on some facebook like-site and it holds a universal truth of human nature, but when you simply 'like' it on facebook, people would just overlook the subaqueous meaning of it all and brainlessly go "omg. This is so cliche and so true!" And now sometimes you wonder why Singapore is trying so hard to promote our art scene. -shakes head-

There's always a little truth behind every "just kidding".
A little knowledge behind every "I don't know".
A little emotion behind every "I don't care".
And a little pain behind every "its okay".

Being sentimental and/or explanatory in my words and actions have always been one of my shortcomings; so I'll just leave it up to you guys to ponder over this by yourself.

Why such a melancholy post? Oh well, I guess its just part and parcel of a phase in life. Life is not always sunshine and butterflies no matter how optimistic you try to be. I guess even the supposedly egoistic narcissist can feel a little dispirited sometimes.
