nothing is too cliche
I made the smart decision of not bringing my glasses home and so now I'm putting my eyesight on the line by using my 13" laptop with tired eyes. Okay, enough nonsense from me. Let's get back to the main point shall we?
I'm finally back home after a week of hall life and well, nothing is too cliche about saying, home (is indeed) sweet home(:
But I really have to say that experiencing hall life is amazing(:
Though, I might have gotten a tad bit too involved and even paid the price of a sprained ankle, I thoroughly enjoyed myself(:
Just a brief account, I got involved in 6 inter-block games (ibg); namely, road relay, basketball, netball, soccer, badminton and squash. So far, 3 of them had taken place - road relay, basketball and soccer.
GH came in 3rd for road relay and I'm just really apologetic for my timing 'cause 10:02 for a 1.6km distance is really not what I intended. I had higher expectatins of myself. (sigh)
We were last for basketball and I couldn't even feel more apologetic about it. (sign x2)
But on a brighter note, we clinched first for soccer so it was really an event to be celebrated. Though I'm really guilty about the sucky goal kicks and the 1 penalty that I let in. If not we would have won the game. (sigh) And maybe won with a greater margin.
Either ways, it was a privilege to have the chance to take part in so many sports(: And as a person who can't sit still, this is just awesome~! :D
Well, bottomline, KING EDWARD VII IS AWESOME(:
