because there is a reason for all the simplicity and complexity in life.
People say that there is a fine line between love and hate and that there is a fine line between right and wrong; because everything eventually boils down to your own individual perception. Therefore I say that, there is also a fine line between simplicity and complexity.
Of all things, I hate to complicate my life. I detest making a mountain out of a mole hill. I get frustrated when people blow things out of proportion. I adore simplicity, even if the issue at hand is a problem to be dealt with, simplicity is my rule of thumb.
Yet, life in all its glory, is a pain in the ass. It only gets more and more and more complicated; rarely the other way around. So sometimes, frustration hits me and I'll just say "fuck it" and walk off. Alas, escapism never helps; so, suck it up and deal with it. Life goes on - #neversaydie.
Moving on, to me, simplicity is very straightforward. It's hanging out with my homies on a random day. It's going on a long overdue "honeymoon" with my bestie and just chillin' our way through. It's staying at home and bonding with my family. So I'll never say I need a miracle, because I've been granted all these miracles in my life. There is nothing else I can ask for, 'cept for their well-being of course.
Complexity on the other hand, is the reality of growing up. Graduation is close and I've seen enough while working this summer. What I gathered is that you'll get eaten up for being simple-minded in today's society. There is no simplicity in people's thoughts because this is a selfish world. A world that would hurt you to protect themselves. A world where people play mind games to climb higher on the corporate ladder.
The world is geared by the thoughts of its people; such ugly thoughts are revolting. Complexity breeds blindness; blindness towards the kindness, passion and happiness that simplicity will and can bring. Although I cannot cure this phenomenon, I can extract myself and look at it in a different light - to find my simplicity and all this chaos.

The world is simply beautiful because it is actually beautifully simple, if you'll just open your heart and eyes.
